Kilig the time

Killing the time. Urrgh. I'm here in Manila, yet I spent the whole day staying in the condo of my cousin! :( Sure there's air conditioning, WiFi access, and a great view of the city, but all I want is to explore the city and not stay inside a box like a lab rat. My cousin wouldn't accompany me, and even If I wanted to go, I don't know the streets and shortcuts of this city. So I'm left with no choice but to stay here also.

The gloomy feeling of this place just depresses me. I wanna see people. Meet people. Want to know their culture and activities. For once I wanna feel I am a different person here. Someone who I can be without any worries because no one knows who I am. Carefree and happy as I can be. :(

Nevertheless, the loneliness paid off because as I was watching movies on YouTube, I came across a Filipino Gay themed movie that is so beautiful and I must say, a piece of art! It's different from the usual indie gay films which by the way are 'cheap', with all the sex and flashing of their private parts. This movie combines politics, gender equality, religion, filipino culture, and essence of family altogether. The title of the movie?

MULI.

It's a 2010 film starring Sid Lucero and Cogie Domingo! Shet. Both of them are so hot in this film. You can clearly see character development when you watch this movie and the events just keeps getting better and better, keeping your eyes sticking at the monitor. "Tamang timpla kumbaga." And because of that, I decided to download it and deserved a spot on a "secret folder" on my laptop.

I swear if I have the money and I see this on DVD inside a CD Shop, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. I don't care what other people think. This movie is AWESOME! It's like the older version of My Husband's Lover. You'll know what I'm talking about when you actually see the film for yourself. (Don't forget to erase the history though, if you're not using your own pc/laptop).

Enjoy watching this guys. Watch till the end. It's worth it. Hence the title of this post: Kilig the time. <3

Luzon Part II: On the road

Today I had an awesome trip with my newly discovered cousins. HOT cousins to be exact! And uncles too!! Imagine the typical alpha filipino male, sun baked skin, broad shoulders, muscular bodies, etc. Haha. Thank you GENES. LOL.

So we went on a place in Luzon where you can stereotype every male to be BARAKO's. (I'm not gonna mention the place and take note, it's not in Manila). It was indeed a gay haven. In my experience in Davao, I rarely see men that have "the complete package". You know what I mean? In Davao there is hipon and lollipop (seen previously in my earlier post) but here, most of the guys I see are good looking in terms of body and face, in short terms: HOT!

When I was about to get pictures of these boys, my camera died on me! Then I realized that I forgot to charge it the night before the trip! "SILLY ME!!". I tried using my phone but it doesn't work on very long distances. The camera was the most feasible choice and yet it died when the perfect moment came. Well, It was due to the fact that I took so many pictures of the landmarks I see during the trip, so there was no energy left to take pictures of the GOOD STUFF. So just bare with just my storytelling for now.

Moving on. So we went to the place. Good food and friendly people. We also got to see a spectacular view of a waterbody (which I'm not going to mention either). I also got to see guys playing basketball during our trip and they were all men. Hahaha. I thought I'd only see men that day but I also got to see a PLU at 7Eleven, (the drag queen type of gay).. He was wearing a really high high-heels, with Rihanna inspired hair (dyed blonde), and was heading for the counter as I was also paying for the goods I bought. Flirting much? Hahaha. And I was like "Ate, di mo ba ako naamoy?" on my mind. It was a good thing though, as that proved that my HIDING IN THE CLOSET abilities are still working. Plus points for me!

Lastly, as we were travelling home to where we were staying in Luzon, the moment when I was tired and haggard of all the things that we did during the day, and the moment when I thought that I wouldn't see a hot guy walking around, well you guessed it.. I saw one! It was when we stopped at a fuel station because the driver needed to use the cr as the trip was still far away.. I was at the passenger seat then, looking at the driver waiting for his turn to use the cr. I was about to end my gaze at him when suddenly the door opened and a young man came out of it. He had this turkish look in him, short black hair, a beard (stubble type), moreno skin and athletic body. He is a tween, and his clothing tells people that he is filthy-stinking rich! I stared at him for a while. "Look at me... Please.." I shouted in my mind, despite my haggard face. And just like magic, he looked back, looking confused at me. Damn. Zayn Malik lookalike alert!! After our eye to eye contact moment, he shrugged and continued walking. I kept looking as to where he was going and then I saw that he was going inside a Fortuner, with him driving the car. A friend or cousin of him just checked the tires and both of them went on the road after..

If only I took a picture!! If only.....

the longing and depressed as of the moment,

LRT Experience

LRT Part I

Hi guys! I got the chance to be online today because I'm currently at Starbucks somewhere here in Luzon (Don't know where). So there you have it. Secret revealed. I'm currently in Luzon having my awesome vacation. I must say, this place is crowded with "Maya's" and discreet gays just like me. I'm sure you'll love it here. I even got pictures of some cute guys in the city but I'll post it some other time when I return back to Davao.

Back to the topic: I just made this post because yesterday was my first time to ride the LRT. It wasn't crowded yet because it wasn't rush hour but most of the women were occupying the seats so I was in 'standing position' in the middle of the train. Later, it suddenly stopped in an unknown station (I wasn't really paying attention to the locations because we've got our distant relatives guiding us during that time), and from there, a guy came inside. He was shorter than me, wearing sports shoes, shorts and light blue t-shirt (which made his fair skin stand out in the crowd)! He was buff and he reminded me of a celebrity that was a housemate of big brother!! Who? None other than Patrick Sugui of course!. :) Sure he was lanky then, but now he is hot hot HOT! I don't know if it was really him but the resemblance is really amazing! I was starstruck then!

For those of you who doesn't know him, here's a picture.

Those biceps!!

He was standing in front of me but we were not 'face-to-face' with each other. All I can see was his back. His broad shoulders, hairless and really pale neck. Urgh, I imagined DIRTY things that moment but at the same time, controlled myself. I tried to take a picture but well, you guessed it! My relatives were there. Any hint of being gay would blow my cover so I just stared at him silently. I don't really know if it was him. All I know is he's cute and I felt 'love at first' sight for him!!!

LRT Part II

Today I had a ride at the LRT alone. I tried to travel during rush hour to see how many hours it would take me to get to a specific point. And I did not expect the overwhelming number of people gathered inside the "f*cking train"! Even if there was just a recent incident concerning the LRT, many people still ride it because it really is the easiest way to travel around the city (bonus na ang airconditioning). It was my sigh of relief when the return route of the train was not crowded with people. I even got the chance to sit somewhere comfy. :)

As I was listening to the music playing on my iPod, a guy suddenly stood infront of me (his hands on the rail), even if there was enough space for him to stand aside from my location. He wasn't ugly, but he wasn't handsome either. To me he was average. He had facial hair which matched his chiseled face, and his body tells me he religiously goes to the gym. He was wearing shorts earlier and so did I. As I was peacefully minding my business, he brushes his hairy legs into my legs which was disturbing. At first I thought that maybe it was because of the movement of the train that's why he accidentally does it, but it became 'frequent', telling me it was intentional. I was about to make eye contact to try to say "stop it", but a part of me withheld the idea so I just ignored him. As I arrived at my station, I hurriedly stepped outside, with him taking my place to sit in that spot.

So there you have it. That was 2 of my memorable experiences so far in this place. And I hope many more will come, as my flight back to Davao will still be next week. I even hope that I can go to at least one gay bar here in this city because DAVAO doesn't have any gay bars (as far as I know). To my readers in Luzon, where's the best place to see some really cool dudes? Kindly comment it below or please email me at davaokiddo@gmail.com If someone can offer a tour, then it would be much BETTER!!

For all my gay readers there, if you have the time, you can share this blog or follow my blog if you're a blogger. I'll follow back. :))

Keep safe guys. - davaokiddo

P.S. I used my PR account recently and I must say, the boys here are unlike Davao. Maybe it's just because I'm in the middle of the city... I don't know. Most of the men I see are buff and gym goers, even on the sidewalk. So my eyes will stay open for all you guys out there! Watch out!

Kadayawan Experience

Hi guys! So today is Sunday and I would like to share the experience I had yesterday. Ever since I was born in this city, I rarely go to the downtown area to celebrate kadayawan. It was because of the stigma that my parents instilled on my mind when we were still young. "Delikado yan, baka may bomb threat jan". So yesterday was literally my first time to go and celebrate kadayawan with my friends. And I must say, traffic is really a problem during that time! Especially when you take the route going to bangkerohan because of the repairing of the bridge.

Anyway, it was about 3pm and I was at NCCC Mall that time because I had to buy something from there and I saw a sea of people gathered at the activity area. Usually teens, waiting for a female actress whom I did not bother look at. "Why are so many people into this type of thing?" I told myself. That was also the place where me and my friend would meet.

Here comes the funny thing. After I bought something at the store, I had to take a quick stop at the CR 'because of my small bladder and the call of nature'. So as I went inside, I noticed a man followed me. There were three installed 'wall urinals' at that CR and I chose to go to the third one, so there were two spaces left for another person to pee.. The man headed for the middle one (which was weird), but little did he know that the urinal was wrapped in plastic, presumably under repair, so he chose the first one instead. As I continued my peeing, I noticed in my peripheral vision that this man glanced at my direction. I was creeped out that time so I hurriedly finished what I had been doing and quickly headed outside.

I was walking outside that time at the playground, when my friend texted me that we would meet at the food station on that same floor. So I stood in front of the SSS office. As I looked back at the direction of the CR, I saw the man looking at me! I assumed he was going to head for the escalator but instead, chose to stand in the exact same place with me. And his awkward glancing continued. WTF?!!! I had enough. I had to take this guy's picture.

(sorry for the bad angle)

Forgive me for judging him quickly, but his actions led me into thinking that he really wants a hook-up. Like the ones you see on western movies wherein two people stare at each other, etc... Later on, as my friend arrived, a sigh of relief engulfed me and we both headed at the groundfloor to ride a jeepney going to the party place.

THE PARTY NIGHT

My friends brought me to IronVoyz Extreme KTV somewhere at Rizal St I think? It was a place inside a compound and there was a dance floor. Bouncers would meet and check your things before you can go inside. There were tables outside where people can drink, and a karaoke place at the top. It was my first time there and I saw a lot of cute people! There was even this cute guy that had a caucasian face and skin (i think he was half) and he really looked like a minor! But damn he was cute. I was carrying a camera with me that time, and I would like to take a picture and share their faces but saddly, I was around with my friends.. Even as we finished our KTV and headed for McDonalds (which was just walking distance), I can still see handsome faces from the crowd of people inside. "Davao is truly blessed" I told myself. Their faces will always be cherished on my mind.

After that night, I swore that it wouldn't be the last night that I would go out and party. Till next year Dabawenyos! Hopefully, I can meet my prince then. (wink*) Keep safe guys! - davaokiddo

Pare, Kaibigan lang kita

One of the saddest songs I've heard so far that is not a straight song. And because of that, it deserved a spot on my iPod music playlist. :) Listen to this song guys. So beautiful. It reminded me of My Husband's Lover. Bitter Sweet taste! I kinda wanted to make a music video of this song just by hearing it the first time! XD

Thumbs up for the cutie singer, Michael Pangilinan!! <3
I'm gonna vote for this song!!

P.S. Judging from the melody, this would suit perfectly for Love of Siam movie. (Just saying)
Keep safe people!

Under Construction

Hi readers. It's me. Davaokiddo. Yesterday, I was at my cousin's house having fun like, play XBox games and ate delicious merienda my aunt cooked for us. (cookies and banana cue). I had a really great time there. Fastforward. The day was great and I was leaving their house to return home when suddenly, I saw a guy outside their house.

He is a construction worker, maybe around 20's something. He was just sitting outside a store that was just in front of my cousin's house. He was topless that time so you can really see his 'developing' muscles and abs. He was also sweaty that time. Pinoy na pinoy talaga ang aura niya! He saw me looking at him and his eyes looked gorgeous! I wanted to take a snapshot of him but I realized that my cousin was escorting me out so it was definitely a "no-no" situation. "Baka mabuking ako" So I just decided to go back to their house the next day so here I am today. Typing for a blog inside his room. Hahaha!

Anyway, this construction guy is currently working for a house near my cousin's home so I can really see him working with all the shovel and sweating under the scorching heat of the sun. Hahaha. Fortunately, I took some pictures of him while working and it was so difficult! It was like doing a James Bond spy thing with all the sleek and covert moves that I did. Here are the snapshots that I got:

The last picture was the hardest one because that meant exposing my phone outside! Good thing nobody was looking.

At the moment, he's still working outside with his shovel.. And I'm pretty sure that later he would sit on the exact same store from yesterday.

As a closeted gay guy, I don't know how to handle these situations. How to engage in talking, exchanging phone numbers. Urrgh! The pressure!!! I feel like I'm about to explode! Hahaha..

If you have some tips on how to handle this things, please let me know on the comments, or you can email me at davaokiddo@gmail.com
Keep safe everyone! Peace!

The cute Prankster

Today I was browsing youtube for pranks and then a video pops out of nowhere, with a really cute guy doing it. Hahaha. What I like most when he pranks is when he dresses up as a girl and he would use his girl voice to prank people on Omegle. Check out this cutie. His name is Anthony by the way, and her girlfriend is Half-Filipina. (Iba talaga kamandag ng mga pinoy! :))

Enjoy guys!

Lollipop vs Shrimps

Hi everyone. It's me again. D.kiddo. Today I've started this post because a lot of PLU (People Like Us) are divided in this topic. The lollipop vs shrimps thing. So let's define each.

LOLLIPOP - Is referring to a guy which has a really cute/handsome face, but a really thin/fat body.
SHRIMP - Refers to a guy with a really hot body (with all the abs, pecs and muscles), but with an unpleasant face.

Observation:

This observation only applies in Davao, an area where I live in. And may not always be applicable to other geographic locations. As what I have seen in Davao, there are two subgroups in which this observation falls.

Gays - They are more attracted bothways, wether it be a shrimp, or a lollipop, provided that the guy is not effeminate or soft. And when I say gays, I mean the drags (gumagamit ng damit pamababe) and the feminine types. But generally, most of them are looking for big, muscled, and daddy types. Hence the SHRIMP. This is because of the fact that these people think of themselves as ladies, and a big muscled guy would provide them with a sense of security and well-being. Typical crushes include police officers, construction workers,

Bisexuals - These guys are the most trickiest people of all. They usually tend to look for guys that are their equals, or even more. You can observe this by seeing two cute guys walking in the mall. Sometimes, they even come in big groups. When you see this, try to look for someone that turns on your gaydar. And when it ticks, then it's undoubtedly true that what you see is a bi. Most of the gays nowadays refer to themselves as bi's when in fact they are gay people that don't dress like a female, and does not act effeminate.

My Preference:

I have to be honest. When I look for a partner, I am always attracted to the physical side (e.g face) first, and later on, the attitude and emotional side. That's how nature works. For example, peacocks tend to find a mate with more beautiful feathers.
I'm not being defensive here, but isn't it the first thing that we tend to see when we meet a person for the first time? (Gwapo siyag mata, Taas siyag ilong, Pula kaayo siyag lips.. The list goes on forever)
To continue, I would always choose the LOLLIPOP instead of the shrimp. Why? It's because, these people can still change their bodies for the better, without any major changes to the face. LOL. But I'm always okay with just the faces. I would not force them to change their bodies if they don't want to in the first place. I mean, who am I to tell them to have this body when I don't even have the perfect body/face right?

But always remember that there are different types of people. People that looks at the outside first, and people that looks at the inside first. People that loves short instead of tall. Moreno vs a mestizo. etc.

To sum this all up, I'll leave you with a quote that I got from a friend:
"Different folks, Different strokes..."

And since we're talking about transformations, let me share with you a picture of my hollywood celebrity crush from his teenage years in "The Surrogates", then "Starving Games" and then now.. Enjoy!!

Stereotyping 101: Beauty Products

(Picture from Wikihow)

Yup. You read that right. I use beauty products! Haha. But I'm pretty paranoid whenever I ran out of beauty products. Hahaha. Usually, I let my mom buy me a 'whitening soap'. And she still thinks to this day that I'm straight. I mean, isn't that the first indicator that you are gay? Many would say that a guy that pampers himself is known as metrosexual, but common, I don't believe that sh*t. But I have guy friends that are also cautious about their appearance, and are straight and have girlfriends. Until now I still wonder whether I should include this in my list of indicators but 90% of me is telling that it should be on the list.

Many say that I really have a good tan skin color but my brain tells me the other thing. It's like colonialism devoured me. Minsan nga I can feel na parang nadaya ako kasi di ko namana yung pagkaputi at mestizo ng papa ko. Buhay nga naman. LOL.

Anyways, I don't know if it's just me, or every closet guys experience this. It's called: PARANOIA. As mentioned above. Ganito kasi. Whenever my mom can't buy me the whitening soap, I tend to panic! As in literally. And because of that, I would devise ways so that I can let someone buy the products for me. Like for instance, I have this friend (girl), na superclose, so one time pinabili ko siya nung soap na ginagamit ko. Then she didn't mind buying it for me. And nobody knows this but just the two of us. How weird is that? There are times however that I will be forced to buy my own beauty products because she's not available, and when I do this, I usually avoid eye contact with the cashier and, most especially, the guy that packs the products onto the plastic! Kasi usually yung mga guys talaga yung tumututok at nag eevaluate if your straight or not. Cashier's don't usually mind what you buy.. Wew.

By the way, honestly, I only use two beauty products. The whitening soap, and the Pond's facial wash. Yung color black, carbon activated.  Hahaha. The reason is because I don't want to look too feminine. I just want to be an average looking guy. Not too pale, and not too dark either. Haha. I guess every closet also achieves this look so it's self explanatory.

So there you have it. Hahaha. Ikaw? Ano beauty products gamit mo? I don't know if someone really read these blogs or not, but one thing is for sure, I'm having lots of fun sharing my experiences.

Keep safe guys. This is davaokiddo. Signing out.
