So today I had come across Hair Pavillion, at City Triangle fronting Ateneo. I entered the store with my usual poker face when I saw two dudes sitting at the side. I could clearly see in my peripheral vision that one dude was staring at me. And mind you, this dude was good looking.
He looked like a foreigner, specifically Jewish/Arab. He had this light complexion, deep black eyes, and he had a beard that perfectly matched his face and a stocky build. In short: HOTNESS OVERLOAD. I sat on the side so the three of us were there, from left to right: the pinoy companion, the jew, and me.
I couldn't help but notice that he was glancing at me quite a few times already. At first I thought they were just checking at their friend that was having his haircut at my right side, but after the guy left, the jew still glanced at me! He was so hot. He's the type of guy that I would surely date and hang around the mall with. But, being the discreet gay that I am, I really didn't know what to do. I mean, I don't have any gay friends which might have oriented me on the things that I should do in situations like that. So I just ignored him..
I knew in my gut that he and his friend were gay. I just have that strong gaydar feeling and signs which tells me that a person is gay. I mean, why would you even glance at a guy for like 3 to 4 times right??
After the haircut, I paid the bill and walked towards the exit. As I walked down the exit, those jewish eyes met my eyes and I was melting literally. Urrgh! An opportunity lost again! Basic story of my life.
But my depression changed when, as I walked out, I saw a teen, with a black shirt, and was fairly tall, had curly hair, and was latino looking smiled at me and walked inside, presumably having a haircut too.
"That's it", i told myself. I should come back here for more eyecandies. :)
P.S. If you were the one that I saw earlier and you are reading this, I was the guy in the green poloshirt and pants! I would love to get your number! LOL.
So what was your funny experience? E-mail it to me at davaokiddo@gmail.com and let's share it to the davao gay community. Till next time folks!
For a visualization, he looked like this guy.

The start of a new journey
Good day readers, refer to me as D.Kiddo. Short for Davao Kiddo. I've been reading so many gay blogs (as far as I was aware of what I truly am) but it was just this moment when I decided and try to create a blog of my own.
My life is not so fancy. And when I say fancy, I meant all that glamour, partying all night along Starr or Hybrid kind of stuff, or knowing many connections from the gay community in Davao City. I'm just as simple and as discreet as I can be. I know most of you must be thinking that this blog must be lame because you'd much prefer a blog with someone who has lots of thrilling adventures and stories to tell, but I believe that those kinds of lifestyle are different/alien to me.
I always think that I am alone in this city. You know the typical guy around his 20's who's still in the closet, hormone-filled body and yet so afraid to venture the world and just be myself. I always feel like I am restricted and chained to myself. You see, most of the gays here in this city "the ones using the famous apps: Grindr, Hornet, Planet Romeo" are all just the same, HORNY SEX CRAVING MANIACS. I meant no offense, but every time someone messages me on that app, it's all about sex, sex, and more sex. Although this is the case, I have still saved this apps on my phone hoping for a change. Hoping that the Davao Gay scene would transform into a much civilized state.
Knowing that I created this blog, I'd have to face the consequences that I may or may not reveal my true identity eventually. It all comes down to whether I decide to reveal my identity to all my loved ones, or keep this secret to the grave. I know there are lots of me out there, and believe me when I tell you this: You are not alone. Whenever you feel down, or whenever you just like to share something that you aren't sure of, you can always contact me here.
This blog serves as my buddy, to share my stories with people like me in Davao. This is Davao Kiddo, drinking a coffee, now signing off. Take care guys.
